Holton parents - you have got to help your girls out with these skirts.

I don’t respect any school that requires a kilt uniform. This is 2025, not 1950. Shoe me the data that these kilts help with anything other than branding your school in a negative way when the kids are off campus.

The kilt isn't required. There are pant options.

I’m shocked they still advertise as an all girls school, since a few years ago there was a push at the school to remove all language of “girls” because it was exclusionary.

Completely untrue.

Except at NCS the girls choose to dress that way. At Holton it’s built into the uniform.

Of course it's not. These are adjusted length. Those skirts don't come at that length.

Holton obviously endorses the inappropriate skirts. They put it on the website. Crazy.

What is crazy to me is adults sitting on this thread linking to pictures of real students and commenting on them with lewd jokes. I am disgusted by this behavior and disappointed those posts have not been removed by the moderator. A discussion can be had without dragging the images of the girls into it.

Well, that's embarrassing right there. What admin approved THAT plaid fringe hanging from the waist? We toured many years ago and the social set-up for our daughter just didn't feel right. I have since learned we were 100 percent correct.

Why are kids' reactions at all relevant?

The dress code specifically does not mention a required length for the upper school, whereas there’s a minimum length for LS/MS.
