Holton parents - you have got to help your girls out with these skirts.

This has been going on for decades.

Holton’s school motto is if you go short, we go shorter.

Oh, come on. That's a lazy come back. Plus OP said they weren't covered up, else OP wouldn't be posting about it. We can all agree some clothing has issues and the way some people wear their clothing is not comfortable for the place and people they are around, which make them socially inappropriate. Like it or not we live in a society and you can't just do whatever you want without judgment or consequence. Yo may not care about that judment, but that doesn't make everyone else wrong.

Yeah I'm not especially bothered by kids flouting the dress code around town, that's been going on forever, but I'm surprised that they thought that picture should be on the website.

I played field hockey in HS, and always felt somewhat self conscious with the lollypop underwear coverings.

And our skirts were mid thigh. I found it so refreshing and liberating to see that girls today wear spandex sports shorts underneath.

Are they wearing the spandex shorts underneath?

Hey at least it's an all girls school, so they aren't distracting the boys. You should see what the girls are wearing at my DS's MS. Butts hanging out and really short tight belly shirts.

I prefer that only one body part be hanging out, if you are exposing the legs, cover up the upper arms and belly. If you are showing belly, no legs, etc., At least these girls get that part right. It's always best to leave a little something to the imagination.

Yes! That is a good compromise: pick one area to flaunt either boobs, butt, legs or mid drift and never more than one at a time.

Hey it’s not just Holton. It’s girls fashion now. We have lost the plot on when certain clothes are appropriate and for where. Current trends don’t help either.

Oh, wow! That's Olympic running or volleyball length!

These girls are stick-thin with thigh gaps but if they turned around and stretched just a smidge they’d be showing @ss. It’s not the bodies, it’s the skirts. And it’s clearly intentional by the school because this is the header image for the school’s mission landing page.

Except at NCS the girls choose to dress that way. At Holton it’s built into the uniform.

Wow. Brings back memories of the all-girls school in my hometown. The girls would come to the all boys school dances with everything..I mean... everything out and on display. You could always pick them out of the crowd. I just remember thinking they were so awkward and clueless about boys and the world.

Nobody is looking voluntarily fool. They’re bending over in their undies. And these are girls from 14-18.

Some of these girls are bigger and heavy set, like many people are and ooof. It’s tragic. Help them out, parents. They don’t need their butt cheeks out on Wednesday morning. And it’s not hygienic. They sat next to me this morning and I was like yeah, your uncovered literal butt was just on the seat. Nobody wants to sit there now.

It makes the school look trashy. Like wtf is going on.

And no, they’re not rolling them down. They buy skirts sizes and sizes too small or save them from like 11 to wear at 17.

The school needs to address this. We are new and are surprised it is allowed. One skirt is shorter than the next.

They are not covered up. The lululemon tiny shorts would be far more covered up. This is disturbing amounts of not covered up. One had on a thing this morning. Why do I know this? The whole coffee shop knows this.
