You clearly know nothing about immigration law and very little about Musk. Musk did transition to a work visa, but only after committing visa fraud (entering the country on a student visa and not attending a university) and working illegally for two years until he fixed his status. Fact: In 1995, Musk enrolled in Stanford University's graduate program in applied physics. He dropped out after two days. When you enter the country on a student visa and then don't actually attend or attend less than full-time (without an approved excuse like a medical condition), you are in violation of US immigration law. (Citation: 8 CFR § 214.2(f)(5)(i) for F-1 visas and 8 CFR § 214.2(j)(1)(ii) for J-1 visas.) Fact: Musk and his brother co-founded Zip2 in 1995 shortly after Musk left Stanford. Unauthorized employment (work without visa approval) violates F-1 or J-1 visa conditions. If Musk worked on Zip2 without securing alternative work authorization (e.g., H-1B visa), he would have been out of compliance with US immigration law. Reports suggest he worked on Zip2 in 1995–1997 without clear documentation of legal work authorization, as investors later helped secure his status around 1997. His brother Kimbal described their status during that time as a “gray area." Fact: Musk did not receive his US citizenship until 2002. , citing a desire to pursue entrepreneurial ventures (starting Zip2). |
Had an interesting chat at lunch with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile. He works for ATF and wanted to pick my brain about any job openings I knew about it.
I now understand why so many of these ICE agents are wearing masks. They aren't ICE agents and did not sign up for this task. Apparently, DHS/HSI has tapped all branches (FBI, USSS, DEA, ATF, and even IRS) to send agents for ICE taskforces. They are hiding their faces because they don't want to be doxxed when they didn't sign up to do ICE raids & deportations. This friend wants out. He also said ATF is a mess with no leadership. He's pushing through to July which is his 20year mark. |
They wear masks because the nuts on the left are doxxing them and threatening them and their families. |
If they are here illegally they absolutely need to be deported. That is the consequence of having a family member who is a proven terrorist. |
Where have you been? There were several news releases about this that were covered by every major news outlet. |
Wow what a Democrat comment. Who and where are the gang members that actually might fight back?? Have you not seen all the pickups of Tren De Agua and the little rascals in NYC? Then- if some gang member attempts to fight back, and ICE puts them in their place and squashes them, Democrats would say: Look how violent ICE/gestapo are! Anyone rational reading these threads knows all of this is just emotional throwup from Democrats who are still coping, seeing their therapists, taking medication after their election day blowout loss. |
You didn't address the point about lying. If illegal aliens weren't trying to game the system, perhaps people would be a little more understanding. Don't come here expecting to game the system. The ones who pay the price are the people who get stuck having to pay exorbitant fees for hospital care, and who don't have insurance. The hospitals pass on the cost of treating illegal aliens to these folks. They can't afford the hospital bills anymore than the illegal aliens can, and the hospitals have their personal information to track them down and make them pay the bills. You understand this, although you're trying to gaslight. |
DP. Like Musk did when he entered the country on a student visa and then never attended? What do you call that? |
You're still gaslighting, dear. |
Zero sympathy. That’s a pathetic excuse. People quit morally questionable jobs every day. They’ll deserve to go to prison for it. |
They absolutely should since these guys are making illegal arrests, terrorizing communities, tearing families apart, and sending people to horrific foreign jails who haven’t done anything deserving of it. |
lol I thought the left was a bunch of beta soy boys and tree huggers. Make up your mind. |
It is not against any rule for ICE to wear masks. |
Americans can fill out a form for financial aid. Hospitals have a fund for uninsured patients. |
That may be true, but it hardly inspires confidence and a sense of safety in the general public. Having been the victim of an armed robbery by multiple individuals wearing masks and street clothes, I am not crazy about any LEO dressing like that in public. |
