Why is ICE only going after the low-hanging fruit?

The violent/nonviolent distinction is meaningless. Identity theft, distribution of fentanyl, possession of child pornography, and possessing a handgun after a felony conviction are all nonviolent crimes. Do you think those types of criminals shouldn’t be deported?

DP- I would add that the Supreme Court has ruled numerous times that simply being in the country in and of itself was a not a crime.

It's an antiquated law on the books that hasn't been enforced in decades. There are also still prohibition-era laws about alcohol production still on the books that are no longer enforced, should we start enforcing those too?
