Meanwhile Musk makes $8 million per day in government contracts. |
There is no rhyme or reason for what the muskrats are doing and trying to claim it somehow relates to productivity is BS. DC’s job actually brings money into the federal government but she’ll likely get fired because she’s 1.5 years into 2 year probation period. No one else in her region does her work. So much for productivity. |
I wonder if those numbers next to the agencies are ranking system.. |
Isn’t most of this info publicly available? |
This. It would be different if they were actually cutting jobs or departments based on an analysis of their productivity and ROI. And if they went through proper channels (like CONGRESS, but also for example the Inspectors General) to make cuts so that there was accountability for those decisions. They are just letting an unelected billionaire wander around the Fed with a machete, swinging it around and claiming the cuts are about "productivity," but there's no oversight if these decisions and no accountability to American tax payers that they are making smart choices that actually serve our interests. |
For my agency it appears to be the number of subcomponents at each level. |
My agency is the only one with an acronym next to it. I wonder why. |
+1000. The only people who think 80k is largess are complete hayseeds making 30k. Try living in the WMA and raising kids on that. Frankly, 80k is piss. |
No they are not. They ARE the swamp. And you are duped by some dipshit website while they raid the treasury. MAGA are such complete morons. Soulless, angry, hateful, ignorant morons. |
Totally agree. too am an attorney and I think attorney salaries, and some other advanced degrees and tech fields, are far from outlandish. But TBH, there’s a lot of employees in various administrative and HR-type roles that hang around government long enough and get paid way more than they should or would in the private sector. And I think a lot of feds know this if they’re being honest. This would make the tiniest smidgen of a difference in the grand scheme of cutting costs from the overall federal budget, but it also isn’t something I’d personally have a problem with as a result of this DOGE effort, to have some sort of assessment and reset of grade inflation. It also may help with optics and perception. Going back to the initial point, I don’t think the average lawyer salary is the problem. However, DOGE and MAGA world will also say there’s too many lawyers, and you can chop that with less regulations, enforcement and oversight. |
I think it's funny you think DOGE would consider lawyers valuable. Right now there are DOJ attorneys coming close to getting bar complaints and contempt proceedings in federal court by raising frivolous arguments. Not sure the private sector attorney market is as lucrative as you think if DOJ attorneys are willing to risk their professional licenses for this clown show. |
211 Billions Total Salary. IRS + State + County + Sales Tax (All Govt entities) takes back Approx 100 Billions from these employees in return.. Not sure where the substantial savings by cutting employees... |
It’s long been available. |
I would assume that all MAGAs outraged by the money going to Fed salaries are also equally incensed by the proposed tax cuts for the wealthy, amirite? |
I think this site proves that there is no waste and fraud. You’re 47 years old and making less than $100k with an Ivy degree? Sounds like you’re volunteering your expertise to me. |
