Here’s the site in formation. Note the base baiting: the total wage bill is featured at the top with no context for its % of the national budget or the services provided by those workers, whose pay is scaled for cost of living in different areas. He also does not disclose his own benefits from his government position, such as his power to shut down agencies that were investigating his businesses. Who is really serving the people?

This is all public information it just isn't laid out easily for the public to analyze

There has been a group that does FOIA requests on all government salaries for as long as I've been a Fed. This is more deliberately inflammatory, though.

Age + salary + office is not - this is the result of scooping up privileged OPM data. And then making it super digestible to provide easy targets for public rage while the bros take the spoils in the background.

So the average employee where I am is mid-40s making $80k/year. Where's the waste, fraud, and abuse again?

For a bunch of tech "geniuses", that is the most amature looking website I have ever seen. SAD.

As long as it gets the job done, that’s fine with me. It’s supposed to be about efficiency and cost savings. Eliminate the positions as quickly as possible and save the taxpayers money. It doesn’t need to be fancy!

Why do we need this site?
Leavitt already waved a stack of blank papers in the air at the press conference. That's all I need.

If he releases the names in such a public way, it is awful. I know my salary information is public alongside my name, but it’s quite another thing to tweet it out for the entire country. Ugh … wish someone tech savvy could tweet out all his exploits row by row …

So how are they going ti use this data? Target the agencies with the highest average salaries? Or what is the point of this really?

Disagree. It's simple and effective. You don't need a bunch of graphics and nonsense.

Strange that when you try to share it, it’s an x link.

Not sure I see the issue. I'm very proud of our salaries. Our head person makes like 250k, has 3 Ivy League diplomas and decades of experience. Contrast that to a CEO salary like Boeing making 32 million dollars.
