Can I pay them less by giving them generous leave and summer's off. |
Intense as in a very present and involved way. Not in a bad way at all. Just put in many hours and came to everything. Fully invested. |
There's a video. And there's no indication the reports were anonymous. |
Two kids witnessed it and told teachers. There were witnesses. |
NP. Why are you trolling this person? Use reason, not incentives, and you will better make your point. I never understand why people insert personal insults rather than just explain perspective. |
^^invectives, not incentives-- I guess autocorrect wants everything to be rosy! |
This. 😞 So glad my youngest just graduated. |
Thank you for clarifying. I'm the person who asked. I think that's standard, at least for ES. My kids' ES principal definitely was at movie night, science night, art show, etc. And being approachable and "present" is definitely part of the job. The principal would do lunch bunches with kids as incentives for sending in Box Tops, etc. |
summers off = unemployed |
Really? Is MCPS going to stop paying your health insurance, forcing you to go on Cobra? |
Do you troll every single thread so you can whine and lament about teacher benefits? It’s pathetic. Get a life, log off DCUM, and find yourself a better job. |
| Whats the squabble about? The child abuser is gone. Good riddance. |
If you think it's such a great gig, try it! |
Teachers prepay their summer health insurance during the rest of the year. So when they have no income, they can finally get all the appointments taken care of that they can't do during the school year. |
Technically, the employer is still contributing. It’s actually more like a furlough than unemployment. |
