If they come back today or tomorrow and say they are hung, the judge will send them back to keep trying into next week. So that won't help them.

every day the jury deliberates means a day where Trump is holed up in a courtroom, waiting on the good people of NYC to decide his fate. Every day that this goes on means Trump’s has no control over his predicament. That must be so hard for a narcissist like him. Gotta love it.

.... But it also probably helps him politically, because he can't say things that hurt him.

This is standard NY state practice, your know, states rights and all. He’s currently sitting in the courtroom nodding off and farting. I’m sure everyone would like for him to go home but this is the law, at least in NY.

The anti-Trump jurors should arrange to deliberate thru early November.

If they also find him guilty of the election interference it will give the federal courts the opportunity to weigh in.

He was not charged with violating tax law. Election interference must be found by the jury to convict on business documents. That the false documents were done with intent to interfere with the election by unlawful means.

Again, this would probably help him. Trump not being able to say stupid s--t all the time is going to be way more appealing to average voters.

They kept the payment off the books until after the election. The timing was part of the scheme.

Then they should have charged for false records in 2016. The records in 2017 whether accurate or false cannot change the results of an election in 2016.

That's when the bullies the one or two holdouts to switch sides and get it over with.

I don't know that anyone expects this to be a quick verdict? Is that what they're telling you on OAN - that we thought this would be quick?

Is YOUR head exploding that they didn't instantly deliver an innocent verdict?

Just stop. This is an idiotic comment.

People have jumped onto Schad because the language supposedly supports the desired outcome.

"The issue in Schad was that First Degree murder could be committed by either Premeditated Murder or Felony Murder. Two methods of proving same crime.

The Jury was instructed on both, but told they did not have to agree 12-0 as to one or the other, so long all agreed that defendant was guilty on the charge by one or the other."
Source @shipwreckedcrew

Look at Richardson case that cites Schad.

+1 maga told me it would be less than an hour to an innocent verdict.

Well, if he’s found innocent then just have the jury vote again. Why not?

Or re try him again on the same charges!

The title of this thread presumed a quick verdict... it's not happening and the Judge sent the jury home for the day.

Poor DCUM, another night of waiting...
