Learn civics dumb Republicans.

It's a solemn moment for our country. But I'm grateful for justice & the rule of law.

I’m no MAGA but these weren’t his peers

I don't think felons can serve on juries.

That’s true, they live in Manhattan and he’s trash from Queens who always envied them.

Well, he could be serving up to four years in prison so he might not be spending much time in the office if he wins. I like my Presidents to not be impeached or in jail.

Doubtful. It will be overturned on appeal.

What do you think the grounds for appeal are ?

I figured with lawyers on the jury Trump was toast.

Case was a slam dunk.

Guess he should have kept his d@@k in his pants this time.

Again, this wasn’t about him having sex with Stormy. It’s a financial crime.

There are no grounds for appeal. It was a simple case with slam dunk evidence. The appeal will be another clown show political propaganda effort that will be easily denied.

This post is ironic because this will have the same effect that the Ken Starr prosecution had on Bill Clinton’s campaign, which is to say it helped him tremendously.

None. He will try all his might. He wants to get it in front of one of his paid cronies at NY Supreme court, but given Merchan planned for him to appeal there is nothing for them to give Trump. Chances of win on appeal slim to none.

It is ironic that the people who fear-mongered about how Trump was going to weaponize the legal system against his opponents he didn’t. But they did.

The pot calling the kettle black.

Gas lighting is useful, I suppose.

Don't commit the crime, if you can't do the time.

He couldn't "lock her up" because there was zero evidence, unlike Trump's many many felonies.

Learn Civics Republicans, this is not hard.

This is a state court.

Democrats taking a page from Russia’s playbook I see. Gross.

You hypocrite. Typical RWNJ projection. Accuse the other side of doing what, in fact, you are the one doing.Trump is the one who talks about weaponizing the justice system to squash his enemies. Trump.

This case = Trump finally got caught and convicted for one of his many crimes. Finally.

They don't WANT to understand how things are supposed to work and they don't want to comprehend the facts.

Those things would not go their way. Inconvenient truths and all that.

The same way a Black man on trial by an all-white jury with a judge who has Klan family members in the 1950s deep south was considered “fairly convicted by a jury of his peers”.

Imperfect example, but the closest accurate example as to how obviously rigged this trial was.

Judge with family members who donate and support the left, trying the case is one of the most Trump hostile areas in the U.S., with a jury pulled from a voters registry list that was made up of 90%+ of people who voted against Trump.

well, he committed the crime in NY, where he lived, forever.. so...

That’s what people said in the 1950s south too. Ans was technically true—but looking back we know how unfair it was.

So, a jury of peers would have been a bunch of white con artists with philandering tendencies.
