Again, this wasn’t about him having sex with Stormy. It’s a financial crime.

We all should have known all of it before the 2016 election. There is little solace in this justice. It does nothing for all the COVID victims that might have had a better outcome without trump in office if he had lost. Or for all of our daughters that no longer have their fundamental rights.

It's a solemn moment for our country. But I'm grateful for justice & the rule of law.

The same way a Black man on trial by an all-white jury with a judge who has Klan family members in the 1950s deep south was considered “fairly convicted by a jury of his peers”.

Imperfect example, but the closest accurate example as to how obviously rigged this trial was.

Judge with family members who donate and support the left, trying the case is one of the most Trump hostile areas in the U.S., with a jury pulled from a voters registry list that was made up of 90%+ of people who voted against Trump.

I too agree with you on this. Another more personal example. There was one time my husband, who leans more left than I, wanted to have sex, I didn’t, he wore me down until I finally conceded. I literally cried as I was exhausted - he was unaware. Very tone deaf on his part. When I told him a few days later how I felt, he was very ashamed and apologized. As we spoke, I told him that the sad part is in the liberal state we live in, that had I wanted to divorce him and take our assets (and there was a LOT), I could have easily had him convicted by a jury of his peers, because of how left-leaning our state was, and the ‘believe all women’ phenomenon. That gave him great pause and he’s been a lot more moderate in his political thinking since then.

Juries sometimes rule due to their own fears (what if someone finds out my identity and comes for me?), their own convictions, etc. Michael Cohen admitted that he stole from the Trump org. Even as a liberal myself, I would have had difficulty with that one - how does one trust a man’s word who embezzled? I don’t know if the jury knew of the judge’s daughter’s ties to Biden, the Judge’s own donation history, and the D.A.’s personal feelings about Trump

The jury only has the wrath of Trump and his MAGA crazies to fear so there's that...

The jury was anonymous so they don’t have to suffer that fear.

New York has had Trump's number for a very long time. NY has moved on.

Yes, we should have but I'll still take this win. The law finally caught up with Donald and he will now start to unravel, just in time for everyone to see. He's about to become super unhinged. A good reminder for the bOth SidEs crowd.

Agree with all of this.
We should have known this instead of being inundated with Hilary’s emails.

And Trump is not going to take this well. I don’t think he’s ever been held accountable for anything in his life before. Or it’s been a long time at least.
