Never fails that the smug responses are the most ill informed and ignorant.

Anne Arundel has the 4th largest population is Maryland. Frederick is 7th. There are 23 counties + Baltimore City.

Ranking doesn't matter. Population count does. AA is half of MoCo, and Frederick is only 1/4.

Aren’t they still counting? If so, it’s misleading to post numbers with no explanation, in a thread with a misleading— or at least premature— title.

Yes they’re still counting. That’s the latest update as of tonight. I didn’t write the thread title.

Have these numbers changed since Monday evening?

They changed last night to this:
Blair 44,722
Elrich 44,577

What were they before that? That looks like what I recall seeing when I checked them on Tuesday morning.

blair increase just over 100

Monday evening Blair was ahead by 134. He is currently ahead by 145.

Now Blair leads by 131.

It only hurts Blair, so that's fine.

I voted for Elrich and placed my ballot in a drop box the last Saturday before the election. It still hasn't been counted. I think Elrich is going to win.

And my drop box ballot for Blair hasn’t been counted yet either. See how that works ?
Anecdotal

Not really, most of the Repulican's that switched to Democrats to vote for Blair would have voted in person I think?

I don’t think so. We had an unprecedented number of mail ins. Many of those are likely because people knew they would be out of town - vacation, visiting family, etc.

Nobody has missed a statutory deadline. The 10 day requirement is to recieve votes, not count them. They closed the receipt of all mail in votes at 10am yesterday. All is good.

Nobody said big other than you. Numbers matter and impact the time needed to complete tasks. Basic algebra.
