That’s the reason I couldn’t get behind Riemer. He spent the last couple of years attacking MCPD. I’m hoping Blair can pull through. He seems logical and we’ll need him to balance out the council, which seems very stacked against public safety. |
Very. Very worried about Mink and Stewart in particular. |
Yup. A Mink, Stewart, Fani Gonzalez, Jawando and sometimes Glass voting block could be very destructive. |
You’re in the minority of Riemer supporters, because the most famous ones have teamed up with Blair supporters against Elrich. |
That’s exactly my concern. Blair would provide perspective that Elrich won’t, especially related to public safety. I also trust Blair to listen to people who do the job, a step Riemer and Elrich skipped. |
| Wonder how many mail-in ballots remain to be counted. Elrich is up by 49% to 33% in that first batch. Not sure if that is most of the mail in ballots, but if it is less than half I think Blair might be in trouble. I doubt there is going to be much difference based on when people decided to mail their ballots in. |
It’s not clear and I wish that they would tell us this information. Elrich was expected to do better with mail in ballots because they tend to skew older and most of them were posted before the late Riemer PAC onslaught of negative ads. |
How do you know this? Another poster said most came in during early voting -- at drop boxes. |
| What’s the difference between Blair and Elrich ? |
One is pro-business to a fault. The other is anti-business to a fault. |
Still 550 votes |
Hah! |
Not for long. |
That’s so close. |
last time Elrich beat Blair by 77 votes |
