Huh? I want him to win too, but we've got a loooong way to go.

I'm watching the livestream now of the mail in ballot count. It's 10:30pm and they are still there!

I voted Blair but think Elrich will win when all the mail-in ballots are counted.

I heard from a source very, very close to Elrich.

They have gone through a fraction of the mail-in votes but have not posted results. However, a once-optimistic Elrich appears to have changed his outlook. The logic was that Elrich was under the impression that mail-in votes would be heavily in his favor because they might have been turned in at the time when he had led significantly in the polls. However, he found that a great deal of them had been in fact turned in at drop boxes around early voting, and would therefore more likely reflect trends in early votes that favored Blair. I think Blair might have it.

Well they just updated for the night and while Blair is still ahead, Elrich had more mail in votes.

Oh wow. Elrich closing the gap by a lot. Mail in votes are trending in his favor. Wow. But this is just one batch. Maybe he is half right. One batch of mail votes will be for Elrich, probably old people who are worried about the pandemic and voted by mail right away. The next batch will be for Blair, those who turned in closer to Election Day. And then there will be provisionals, people who switched parties to vote for Blair/against Elrich. My guess is Blair wins by 1%. Still… WTF MoCo. I don’t understand how it isn’t 60% Blair, 20% Riemer and <20% Elrich. One would think Elrich’s base is a dying breed, old hippie socialists and young delusional leftists who have hopefully grown up.

They are scanning from first received to last. So if poster’s source is right, as the count gets higher, they might start trending for Blair. I habe a provisional myself, for Blair, which won’t get counted til the 27th.

David Blair doesn’t have a bigger lead because 20% of voters were smug and voted for Riemer.

I am only one person, but I submitted my absentee ballot on Election Day and voted for Blair.

This is hilariously stupid and perfectly in keeping with the pro-Riemer contingent to keep lying to the end.

The unifying theme of both Blair and Riemer supporters was antagonism to Elrich first and foremost.

I voted for Blair and I still think he will pull it out, but I don’t understand the need for a new thread and with this level of confidence. There’s a ton more mail-in ballots to count and Blair is only up 39.3% to 38.6%.
