People get the government they deserve. Like Maryland Republicans who overwhelmingly voted for Cox. If they had voted strategically, for someone a bit more moderate, they would have had a chance at another Republican governor. If Riemer voters had been more strategic, they could have avoided another Elrich term.

That link shows Katie Curran O'Malley with a sizable need over Anthony Brown and Tom Perez with a sizable lead over Wes Moore, but Anthony Brown won his race and Moore is leading in his (according to Washington Post).

Riemer voter here who never would have voted for Blair. Would rather have seen Elrich back in (which definitely wasn't my choice). Deeply dislike Blair & his 'daddy started my business I pass off as my own success.' But, hopefully he will have a good team who will steer him well.
