Condoms or shouldn't get any. Zero sympathy. |
ITA. so men shouldn't tell women whether they should be able to get an abortion or not. Will the men happily take care of the oops child if she gets pregnant? It takes two. Women can't get pregnant on their own. |
This. Most guys hate using condoms but those are the natural consequences to him being a jerk and wimp. He should talk to some of his friends who have had the snip - my DH gives people a lot of grief (and a pep talk about getting one) when he finds out a friend is reluctant to get one. |
Agreed. It’s easy and kind of guarantees no more surprises. |
No, but you do what you do to keep it from happening. Easy to say OP should do such and such, like no sex until he gets a vasectomy, but that’s quite unrealistic in the real world. Do you think that would be good for her marriage? Maybe it’s great except for this one issue, and it would really blow things to hell. |
So can an unplanned/unwanted additional child. It’s quite realistic to have to think about the consequences of your actions. If the OP is set against any more children, she can and should do what is needed to prevent that from happening. Even if it means no sex. |
+1, she wants it done, she should do it. |
Serious question:
Why would you want to have sex with someone so selfish? |
+1 |
(Shrug) his body, his call.
Go get your tubes tied. |
Yup. |
That's a lot more serious that a vasectomy. Pros and cons for each procedure: https://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/snip-decisions-pros-cons-vasectomies-tubal-ligations-article-1.2687004 |
Her body, her choice. She doesn’t want an IUD or her tubes tied. (Shrug) No sex for him. |
I doubt a man who is this selfish and dismissive about birth control doesn’t behave similarly in other aspects of life. Sometimes you need to stand up for yourself. |
Were you the other woman? |
