First, I didn't say anything about SAHMs. I know both working moms and SAHMs.

Second, just because a woman is married doesn't mean she has to cheat with a married man or go Lesbian. Single men exist and are more desirable. What DW wants someone else's harried, tired husband? We have one at home already.

Not only that, but there are some single men who have a thing for married women. They get off on it. Not saying there aren't women like this as well, but I think the numbers are lopsided.

To further complicate the math, assume that these are men who are very successful with these women because they are more appealing (at least more appealing than the husband they are cheating on) than other men so they are likely to have had sex with multiple married women. This further debunks the simplistic idea that for each cheating spouse there is a cheating spouse of the opposite sex so it's a 50/50 split.

Solidly middle of the road, good features and less good but overall a clean and attractive package. And I'm only 30 so not old. And yet if you today would pay me actual money to go do it with a stranger I would have no idea how to go about doing that with a guarantee of success. Just like, I dunno get drunk and go to a club or something? That did not always work for me when I was single.

Agreed. Adding to your algorithm, prostitutes/escorts, massage parlors and the fact that some married men also maintain multiple non sex worker married or single women APs at the same time. I think most women chase the love affair -- serial monogamish relations on the side. All in all, I'd bet that more men cheat given the variety of more socially acceptable cheating options for men. Married women risk a lot -- becoming a modern Hester Prynne.

Seriously I dont think I could. If I saw someone that DID appeal to me I wouldn't know how to immediately turn that encounter into having sex. WTF, you really think if I just walked up to a guy and asked if he wanted to go do it he'd say yes? Aren't people worried about STDs? I think this must just be a belief from guys who believe they are below the 'standards' most women have to make themselves feel better? This is a really strange conviction I think. Because I GENUINELY think that if I went to a hotel bar as some other guy suggested and started to strike up conversations that people would look at me like I was crazy. Any person, regardless of gender, sitting alone at a bar drinking for hours does not really seem that appealing for conversation or sex.
