| No chatter yet on Reddit or CC. This is the right time of year, so should be soon. Remember that only 25% of acceptances receive one, they only go to students whose applications have already been reviewed, and they mostly go to the students with the most impressive applications. |

| My daughter got one last year on Feb. 18th. There might have been earlier ones that went out, but I don't think it's necessarily the case that they're late now, or that they've sent them out and your student didn't get one. Good luck! |

| Don’t worry too much. I was looking for one last year. Kid was admitted RD as Monroe Scholar but never received the cypher. (They did send those acceptances a few weeks earlier than most of RD). |

DC1 got a cypher first week of February two years ago (also Monroe scholar). DC2 has not received one yet. Don’t know if they will. We’re in NoVA (FCPS)
Any cyphers in NoVA yet? |

| They send to about 25% of the RD admits, usually equivalent to fewer than 7% of the applicant pool. You have to be tops to get one. They are already out or at least the first wave is. They come in waves over 2-3 weeks starting around Feb1. |
