They are ALL willing to sign a national abortion ban, they have all sucked into MAGA where domestic and international affairs are concerned (except Christie, who is polling at single digits and has no chance)

JDAM kits make bombs more accurate, resulting in fewer injuries or deaths of non-combatants. This benefits both Israel and Palestinians in Gaza.

But it’s bad for Hamas - because Israeli bombs targeted at them will be far more accurate.


Are you upset that Hamas is in greater peril? Because I can’t understand why anyone would oppose a more accurate bomb.

He wants to let the authoritarians rule their domains. At the expense of the freedom and will of the people being subjugated. The US has, for the past 80 years, been the world's policeman. The benefit of that is that US based companies were able to expand significantly into other markets and the economic ties between countries has generally kept the peace. that peace "dividend" has raised the standard of living significantly in the US and worldwide.

So when you say there is no difference and by inference, no impact, in such a change from the status quo, you really undersell how remarkable the post WW1 and moresoe the post WW2 era has been.

It’s absolutely worth it. I was just talking with some friends today about how much better life was 5 or so years ago under Trump. Will we vote for him? No way. But none of us plan to vote for Biden again. One friend even used the term “suicidal” to describe another vote for Biden.

NP. Your understanding of history is pathetic. The US has lost virtually every war it has undertaken since World War Two. It has backed dictators all over the world. The US has killed more foreign peoples than any other country since the end of WWII. To most of the world, the US symbolizes oppression.

According to Ben Cardin, the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, "[t]he judgment of the casualties [in Gaza] versus the importance of the target is something that will be a judgment call."

In other words, with the support of Cardin, a Jewish octogenarian from Maryland who has spearheaded support for illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank in the past, the U.S. should just keep shoveling billions to Israel and then leaving it up to Netanyahu and his cronies to decide how many innocent Palestinians they want to kill to root out Hamas terrorists. Nothing surgical about it - just kill as as you go.

Of course Biden is in trouble. Biden is increasingly senile, and the Democratic establishment provides unwavering support to a foreign ethno-religious state that practices apartheid and inflicts massive casualties on civilians. If they want to suggest they are better than the GOP, they'd better start cleaning up their own house.

The only thing of value Trump brings to the table is the audacity to make some very difficult issues his talking points and priorities. Immigration, trade policy, and addressing the imbalance with the United States's funding of world peacekeeping and humanitarian aid relative to the other economic powers of the world are such issues. Career politicians prefer to steer clear of these issues because there are no easy and quick fixes to such problems. The problem is, Trump's New York businessman approach to addressing these issues doesn't work in politics and government. He simply doesn't belong in government or and public service role. He will be a very easy to beat candidate in 2024 by many potential opponents but unfortunately Biden isn't one of those candidates. His odds of beating Trump are only 50/50 and that's the point of this thread.
