She's a great OP! This will create at least 5 more pages. Oddly, she is calling the sheriff after talking to the Uncle. Is the uncle concerned? Is he doing anything?

I have a brother who disappears (drugs) and whose girlfriends freak out and have contacted me in similar ways. I listen, but I don't go all crazy because we have been around that bush. I also don't give the girlfriend the history as it is nothing good and not my business to share. This seems similar. Thus, I have suggested drugs both here and in the other thread.
