It's not that odd. Fetterman isn't a great candidate. He has a very unconventional style and is dealing with health issues. Oz also isn't a great candidate, but carpetbagging is what politicians do. Hillary Clinton won the NY senate race in 2000 while living in Washington, DC (as first lady), wasn't from New York and had no discernible connection to New York (she grew up in Illinois and then was associated with Arkansas). |
People are voting for the party, not necessarily the candidate. This is especially true of the GOP. |
I hear lots of Democrats say, "Vote Blue, no matter who." |
Because the only alternative today is MAGA cultists. |
Fetterman is a fantastic candidate who has some health issues, that shouldn’t be an issue. |
Every Democratic nominee is better than the Republican alternative. The only good Republicans either retired or lost the primary to a delusional fool. A random person off the street would be better than any Republican nominee. |
Many of us happen to think just the opposite. Democrats have gone bat$hit crazy. Their fiscal policies and social policies are just plain nutty and not good for voters, families, children, or anyone except liberal elites. I will vote for *any* Republican over a Democrat at this point. Democrats are THAT dangerous. |
Fantastic if you are pro-criminal, pro-drugs, and pro-illegal immigration. |
Ok, but do you see how reductive your logic is? A Republican can just say the same thing about Republican candidates. |
Republicans are mostly seditious traitors, so there’s that. |
