I love moroccan tiles- do you mean the arabesque shapes? I'm still warming up to DO that eventually. Is it already passé?

No not the arabesque, the patterned Moroccan tile. Mine are neutral colors and I’m still over it. I don’t think the trend has ended and the tiles are beautiful. I just hate when everything is overdone.

I don’t get this. Either you like it or you don’t. Disliking something because it’s popular is just as bad as liking something because it’s popular.

I’m not sure what you aren’t getting. You can like something and still wish you hadn’t done it. It’s not about being popular it’s bout seeing it every where and being sick of it. Hopefully that clears it up for you.

It does clear it up. It’s about being a snob.

Not a snob at all. Far from it. I am just heavily into interior design. You know the person who has tons of interior design books and watches HGTV all the time After a style has been overdone, and the market becomes saturated with it. I’m over it. I get sick of seeing it. Not really a big deal. It’s my thing. Sorry you aren’t able to understand or comprehend that. But really the name calling is unnecessary.

LOL at HGTV implying that you know all about interior design!! If you're watching HGTV, you're already at least five years behind of the trend, PP.

A designer warned me that there's no correlation with expensive appliances and quality and I now agree.

I bought a 42” subzero and absolutely love it. Well worth the money in my book.

I put a gorgeous marble mosaic floor in my bathrooms. It's been a couple of years and it's not damaged or stained or anything, but I have so much mental anxiety around it *becoming* stained/etched that I really wish I could go back in time and just get some boring, cheap ceramic tile. It looks so good! But no one should think about bathroom floors this much. I have real problems I should be focusing on.

Is it slippery?

We renovated a kitchen and the space for a refrigerator will not fit any refrigerators on the market that that a filtered water dispenser. It’s annoying. We are considering installing a water filter on the sink

So wasteful, and already out of date.

Looks like we were trying to show off, or something.

I would totally use that. I cook a lot and it would come in handy.

I think most people rarely make pasta/stews/soups, so would not need it.

What in the world makes you think people don't make pasta (!!!!!), stews and soups? That is literally 90% of what I cook for my family. What do you eat? Just salad and sandwiches?

No, I think that's only a problem with bigger tiles.
