Even skinny people can have fat in their stomach area. Since more than 2/3rds of Americans are overweight or obese, and this girl was not, some might consider her skinny. Not all Asians are skinny. Especially eating the American diet.

This may be harsh to say but in my experience weight presents itself very differently on short women or tall women. Short women can be "curvy" and still look "feminine", very attractive, and small, whereas tall women can go into the "big girl" category very quick with some weight gain.

it's unfair and unfortunate, but just what I've seen.

I think it's the opposite. Much harder to put on weight when you're short - it's more obvious.

I know obese men who are married to obese women (not just slightly overweight, but with triple chins and cankles). They are 5 couples who have formed a pod during Covid and are partying it up at indoor restaurants and indoor concerts in a red state.
