Has anyone heard anything about refunds from Calleva?

Is the email about mass cancelling real? I have two kids in camp in August and I haven’t heard anything. We did get a refund for the June camp that was cancelled.

I was fine with Calleva's refund policy back when they had to cancel camps. But now they they are having more expensive camps that potentially not everyone will be able to enroll in due to demand, I think it is frustrating that they are still not offering 100% refunds. I think that (at a minimum) parents who wanted to enroll their kids in the new COVID camp and couldn't get a spot, should be able to get a full refund. After all, the camp will now have revenue coming in, so they shouldn't need to keep our deposits.

I really wonder how much more expensive it will be. If you look at congressional camp is now 760 a week for that small ratio. I would really like my kid to go to camp, but not sure I want to pay that.

I think more like 12-15 kids to 2 counselors.

No no no, they are holding camp but not the one we registered for, and think they should also get to keep our registration fee? At this point; I feel like they owe me interest on the money I’ve allowed them to hang on to.

Especially since you might not even be able to get into the new camp, even if you want to.

New camp is $650.

Here is what it says about registering:

At this point all families will have to re-register their campers for these Small Group Adventures. We know this is very difficult and frustrating, but since our offerings have changed, along with many services, policies, and itineraries, we feel that parents need to be sure whether or not they would like to continue with Calleva offerings. Credits will be transferred and we are sending links first to campers that were registered for that same week of camp, giving our loyal families an opportunity to select what limited spaces are available for these Small Group Adventures.

I’m going to dispute with my credit card to get the $75 Back. We have two kids enrolled for two weeks. That’s $300 for nothing. No thanks. We work hard for our money.
