Has anyone heard anything about refunds from Calleva?

Not a good look Calleva, not a good look. Out of sheer luck we didn't have anything booked with them this summer, but we have in the past and would have in the future, but I won't be giving them my business again.

New camps are $650/week and only open to those currently enrolled in a Calleva camp.

The part about their refund policy I hate the most is that if you choose to just GIVE them the $150 they open up extra early access for next year.

Me either. I’m getting all my info here.

I’ve been in email contact with them as recently as last week, when they must have known for sure that DC kids would not be able to attend. I specifically asked about that and they were silent, just saying that the bus stops would likely be more limited.

Since they are now cancelling, what aren’t they being held to their original cancellation policy (I.e. we get back 100% of the deposit)? And what is with their selective communication?

It sucks. DC kids can attend VA camps (if they can get in) but no transportation, even for VA residents.

My emails have ended up in my spam box, so I’d check that if you’re not receiving them.

Same here. We are registered for weeks 5-7, so I assumed they hadn’t sent anything to our week yet.

But will registration open on the same day for all weeks? Sounds like a shitshow considering how registration went in January.

It seems like they are sending families an individual link to register for their specific week only. So maybe it won't be so over burdened

If they don't fill up with previously registered campers I wonder if they'll open it up to others?

The VA camp does not seem like it will be the classic Calleva experience bc they won’t be on the water. So no kayak/canoe etc. Will there be swimming??
