You are an absolute idiot. 2021s can't talk to coaches, let alone get offers, until September 1st NEXT YEAR, genius (except for service academies). What a dummy. No wonder you are a DCE supporter. LOL. Mr. Fake News Fool. |
| What was the impetus for this committee to begin with? You win a title and the school “doesn’t like the direction of the program”? Odd. |
| when you admit a kid who is a senior was who was asked to leave a rival school in the same league, probably not the best look. |
| The point was there will be a feeding frenzy for DCE 2021s on September 1, 2019. Not sure about 2020s next month. |
No, you said THIS September, dummy. You further illustrate your stupidity when you state that there may or may not be clamoring for DCE 2020. You must be a clueless DCE 2022 dad with zero clue. Everybody knows DCE 2020 is awful. |

Nobody knows what parents and club coaches said to the committee? Best guess is they either knowingly or unknowingly confirmed any of the issues that had come up initiallly, right? Or brought new things to light that were unknown? Play time? Transfers or recruit issues? Discipline? Partying? Certainly this whole thing is hard to piece together. I don’t believe at all that the headmaster didn’t know what was going on. A decision this big, no chance.
So, now seems to be a lot of speculation that JB stays. I imagine the naysayers will either be proven right or wrong in the coming years. Although he could decide that if he’s not wanted, then why would he stay. Seems to be no-win situation. |
Take it easy Poindexter or take your meds, everyone knows what he meant... |
|
its a lose-lose situation for Bullis.
The headmaster is either blatantly lying or the AD is a complete moron. |
A very rough calculation has it at about $150,000 a year. For three years that's very close to $500,000. |
Wow, I would never have thought the field rental would be that much a year. Thanks for the insight. I wonder how DCE was able to swing that amount of pre-payment? I can see how that would be attractive if the school had serious cash-flow needs. But getting into that arrangement is a little like robbing Peter to pay Paul since there will be no cash for 2 years from that asset once they were paid up front the first year. |
Agreed, The headmaster had to be on the committee mentioned above. No way it gets this far without his knowledge. They must have discovered something major while talking to the parents and area club coaches. Wonder what it could be? Big or strong enough to make he decision to move on until Boatd stepped in. That program must be seriously divided over this whole mess. Not sure how long it takes to recover. |
I still think the headmaster didn’t know or else the news would have come from him. He’s never even mentioned in the letter to the parents. |
| No “this” in that comment. Get a life and get over the fact that your kid is addicted to video games instead of trying to improve his skills. |
The directive came from the Head. The AD did NOT just decide to relieve the successful coach (also a longstanding teacher and parent) of his duties. That is not the way it works. He was told to do it, the letter to families was crafted, and was likely proofed by administrators above the AD. The AD was simply the messenger, and couldn't be further from being a moron. Why is this difficult to understand? |
| Why so hostile? |
