Agreed,  The headmaster had to be on the committee mentioned above.  No way it gets this far without his knowledge. They must have discovered something major while talking to the parents and area club coaches.  Wonder what it could be?  Big or strong enough to make he decision to move on until Boatd stepped in.  That program must be seriously divided over this whole mess. Not sure how long it takes to recover. [/quote]

The directive came from the Head. The AD did NOT just decide to relieve the successful coach (also a longstanding teacher and parent) of his duties. That is not the way it works. He was told to do it, the letter to families was crafted, and was likely proofed by administrators above the AD. The AD was simply the messenger, and couldn't be further from being a moron. Why is this difficult to understand?
