| Now that was pretty funny |
By whom? When Sidwell left, the academic reputation took a hit. I don't know what has happened at Bullis recently, but I don't think anyone in the past thought it was a top academic school. St Stephens & St Agnes has never been an academic powerhouse. Nor has Episcopal. Nice schools, just not academically elite. Prep serves a community and that community is represented by a range of students, some very good and some average. I think the MAC is as strong academically. |

The IAC is more like the ACC than the Ivy League.
St Alban's is Duke Prep is Boston College Landon is Virginia SSSA is Wake Forest Bullis is Syracuse EHS is UNC No face-offs for Pitt, Notre Dame, Clemson. Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State or Louisville |
This is brilliant and spot on! |
|
I would equate Bullis to NC State or Florida State.
|
Nah! The U. |
How about Maryland, back in the day? |
| Hilarious |
| UNLV |
| How about National Champions |
| Yep. Miami is appropriate |
Not my ACC! My ACC consisted of: Maryland (Bullis); Virginia (St. Stephens, in my ACC, St. Agnes was in the ISL); Dook (Landon); Carolina (Prep); Wake Forest (Episcopal); Tech (Albans, but not a terrific fit -- in a way Albans and Landon are both Dook); Clemson and State (Unassigned). I'd also accept South Carolina. The others are carpetbaggers. Now, get off my goddamn lawn. |
OK it is your lawn and if you want Maryland in the ACC they by gosh let them be in the ACC. Long live Lefty. It is a shame that MD is not in the ACC however the old big east may be a better comparison. |
