Which comps made you think it's worth $385k?

$334 per sq. foot just seems rather high.

Seems like I was incompletely wrong and it went for $347 a sq. foot

Bidding war!

No bidding war.. just one buyer that overpaid in my opinion. I'll keep an eye on it though to see how it appreciates

If it were one bidder why wouldn't they just pay asking?

University Hills ES is good by PG standards, but if you talk to parents not all are happy. Also, what will you do about middle school and high school. Something to think about. Like other majority white neighborhoods in PG, you'll be fine if you're white, other the moms are pretty cliquey.

There are a lot of private and parochial schools, just like in D.C. But at least they can go to College Park Academy

There were multiple offers but no escalation or counter offers.

I don't want to diss the person who bought it. I think it's a very good house and we would have been happy there.

There were multiple offers and the highest one. That is essentially a bidding war.

A house on Albion, right off the Trolley Trail and really close to the Whole Foods is going on the market.

Thanks for the heads up! The neighborhood market has been pretty slow this spring. Hoping for some more listings.
