The worst part is that it has been gratuitous. The multiple scenes of it did not advance the story any more than a single scene of it. Sheridan got lazy and wrote perverse filler.

Overall a disappointing season, not nearly as good as the first, but the train scene where they reunited was well done.

Like Spencer could really have recognized Alex as the train is passing by. The entire last episode strained credulity to the max!

What’s up with them not addressing Elizabeth’s pregnancy? Cara was talking to her as if she’d find a new man - seemed callous to me. She didn’t say a word about the baby or anything. They will never see or hear about their grandchild? Or I guess great nephew or whatever?

+1 and somehow they were able to shoot all 20+ men invading their property. By having 2 men go to the roof (one who just had brain surgery and still in a bandage) and Cara’s perch with her gun. And they were able to put out the fire easily too.

Also did anyone else think it was ridiculous that a premature infant (28 weeks maybe) could survive in that time period without an incubator or any steroid shots for his lungs? And then as soon as he’s home, Cara has him out on the freezing cold porch drinking goat’s milk? Wtf?

I don't understand why Alex had to die. Did she think they would take the baby and leave him in a cot to die if she went to surgery? Did she think she had to stay with him until morning to nurse him before the milk goats went on sale? Did she just not want to live after those amputations?
