1923, Season 2

They really wasted the greatness of Brandon Sklenar and Julia Schlaepfer in the last episode. Not one episode of them together living a bit of a happy ending?

They had such chemistry and were the only good part of this show. I am so annoyed it ended the way it did.

Did she think she had to stay with him until morning to nurse him before the milk goats went on sale? Did she just not want to live after those amputations?

Alex had to die because she should have frozen to death like the other two. It was unfathomable that she was still alive and making a tiny little fire in the car.

Yeah it was weird bc she basically said, time for you to go, this baby is the future and you are the past. But Elizabeth is...pregnant and (to be frank) probably more likely to carry to full term and produce a healthy child. Whereas Spencer and Alex's son will very likely die (especially if he is going to be sitting out on that porch all winter...).

Cats was unnecessarily cruel to Elizabeth.

She did not need to be freezing in a car at all. She could have taken the train and met him on the train and it still would have been romantic and then she could have lived.

Feeding a premie out on the porch after the baby's mom basically froze to death makes it extra crazy.

I've never understood why they sit outside in the freezing cold!

That premie could never have survived.

Julia Schlaepfer voice and fake British accent were awful and she is a dreadful actress. She needs a new day job.

I actually think she did a good job with the script she was given.

I had no clue she was American but it explains why she looked pretty in such an American way.

The actress who plays Alex cut her hair super short after filming and it looks hideous!

Me too. I think she’s beautiful in a natural way. She must have lost a few pounds before 1923. Previous photos show her more voluptuous. Or, she’s lost some baby face fat.

I didn’t think she was cruel at all. Just frank.
