Because DD didn't get into W&M, didn't like the big state Us, and a couple private colleges that came out comparably priced to in-state publics had great programs for her major and appealed to her more than other in-state options. Expensive private colleges were never in consideration, only those that gave merit and had potential to be competitive in price with our public Us. |
