My neighbors are all late 20s to late 30s. All owners, all functioning. Does that help? Maryland (DMV.) |
I’m done trying to appease whiners. Don’t like what you have, vote for someone else. |
And they will. |
So let them. Is that some kind of threat? Whiners will always find something to whine about. |
No way. I'm a boomer and I feel badly for the kids living in the woods because they can't afford housing. You don't see these kids because you don't want to. BTW, I worked my way through college. You can't do that anymore. You're living in la-la land if you think the average 20-something is out there buying a house. |
Case in point. |
Trump will probably send GenZ to defend Taiwan so their whining won't be much of a political issue soon. |
Trump started so. Many. Wars. Luckily, there’s been world peace since the adults came into the room. |
+1 When Boomers were young, they didn’t all know someone in their extended social circle who had died of an overdose/fentanyl poisoning. That’s the reality of Gen Z. |
|
I understand how it is confusing when we tell them their vote is their voice and then tell them not to withhold their vote as a way to protest.
I get it. The one year I lived in a swing state, I wasted my vote on Ralph Nader. It took some growth to realize that if I don’t vote for the dry whole wheat toast, it’s basically a vote for the arsenic sandwich. These are the options. |
Ah, they won't have to worry about voting being their voice after Trump wins and can then solely focus on social media activism and protests. |
No, we lost people to cancers and other diseases that are cured largely now. Then we lost a f- ton of people to AIDS. Biden didn't give you Fentanyl. Look at the system, understand how pain pills were distributed whole sale for decades and how corporations got rich doing it, and which political party helps that. Addiction is a disease, yes, but remember that kid who used snap chat to buy a pill , one pill, and maybe the only pill he ever took, used his own agency to do that. Why? Or the 34 year old lawyer- he decided to buy the oxycontin or whatever fully knowing the risk. So blame the internet, social media, lack of education in schools and everywhere about drugs, but if there wasn't a demand there would be no supply- regardless from where. This isn't your generation's lament. It didn't happen on its own. |
They can, and they do. Every day. If not in their 20s, then in their 30s. |
This!!! Every election cycle the democrats claim its an existential election. "Support us for the greater good! Vote blue no matter who!" Then after they get elected they basically tell the progressive wing of the party to eff off. Not falling for it again, and no voting for Genocide Joe. Maybe next time you'll be willing to actually earn our votes, not just feel entitled to them while completely ignoring and disrespecting what we want policy wise. |
So they can continue what they are doing, claiming some kind of mandate, ignoring us all the while? Yeah right. No wonder you all ran the country into the ground. You keep voting for these fools and they keep screwing you. The only way to get their attention is to threaten their hold on power. You want our votes? You stop the nonsense and start listening. |
