Doesn’t matter what he is. The world is better off without him in it. Well done, MCPD. |
Says the keyboard warrior. |
The next time a crime happens in Chevy Chase, I trust that you will immediately jump to the conclusion that the criminal must be white since CC is predominantly white. |
They could. But it's a tiny fraction of the Latino population here in the County. |
That's cruel to say. My guess (only a guess) is a mental health crisis, which takes a lifetime to contribute to. At that one moment in time, MCPD did what it had to do to save the lives of both the officer and others in the surrounding area. The officer absolutely did save lives yesterday by taking one. But what could have helped this guy before yesterday? Maybe four people would have been saved from being stabbed. |
Please. I work in a mental health facility. Many of our patients are beyond repair. It is what it is. |
How am I a keyboard warrior by congratulating the police on a job well done, and getting someone violent off the streets? |
You are congratulating the police for killing a person. Most likely, the police officer who did the killing would have preferred to have a day at work that did not involve killing someone. But here's you, saying rah rah from behind a screen. |
He was doing his job. Sorry you don’t understand that. I will congratulate anyone who not only does their job, but does it well. |
Methinks you don’t actually know what a keyboard warrior is. |
You are congratulating the police officer (whose gender was not specified in the police news release) for something that, for all you know, the police officer does not want to be congratulated for. |
Unfortunately, this really sounds like "suicide by cop" which is pretty common in the my home southern state. Really messes up the police officer when the person holding the weapon won't put it down and just stands there to be shot. |
Right. A police officer doesn’t want to be congratulated for doing what he was trained to do. Totes makes sense ![]() |
You just had to point out the gender thing, didn’t you? |
With friends like you, MCPD doesn't need enemies. |
