That's cruel to say.   My guess (only a guess) is a mental health crisis, which takes a lifetime to contribute to. At that one moment in time, MCPD did what it had to do to save the lives of both the officer and others in the surrounding area. The officer absolutely did save lives yesterday by taking one.

But what could have helped this guy before yesterday? Maybe four people would have been saved from being stabbed.  [/quote]
