| Tail Up Goat. Besides being a terrible name, it just was not good. |
Pains me to say it, but le Dip is yummy. Most Steven Starr restaurants are, even if overrated. |
HATED the Dabney. Le Dip isn't doing anything revolutionary but it's solidly good. |
| Zaytinya. The food was OK, but the noise level was deafening. Really ruined the whole experience and I will not go back. |
Never been, but agree on the name. |

Blacksalt.
It was so good up until the pandemic. Then the quality just literally tanked, even after having had time to recover. It makes Clydes look high end. Last went in February of this year for my wife's birthday (with the kids) and we dropped $450 on a completely boring, unspecial meal. The ceviche was slurry and was sent back. The fried ipswich clam app they are famous for was about the size of a deck of cards at ...$27. I think we all had two straws worth. We brought this to the attention of the old lady that has been there for 15+ years and she could not have cared less. It's sad, really. We used to love the place. We'll never go back |

I love tail up goat (we go 2/3 times a year). I also like Le Diplomate. It’s nothing revolutionary but the burger and fries are solid. Lastly, the crispy spinach from rasika, yum.
I did not like l’ardente. Thought it was very meh. |

Two Amy's and Comet Ping Pong--I don't understand how they both manage to make pizzas that are both burnt and soggy at the same time.
Agree that Tail Up Goat is a terrible name, but the food and service have been good. |
Common problem when brick oven Neopolitan pizza places rest on their laurels. Same thing happens with Puptaella now. They get popular and they get lazy. |
I lived around the corner from Two Amys when it first opened. I never understood the appeal and they had some of the rudest staff in DC. |
| Food at Founding Farmers is sooo small. At least $20 for many entrees. Chicken and waffles only had half a waffle. Portions are small for everything. Spatchcock chicken is small. Tiniest half chicken ever. $12 for desserts. Small slices of pie and carrot cake. Service is nice. That’s about it. |
It was never good. Every. I gave it several tries when it opened and it was bad, cooked off premises food. Mediocre pizza too. I think Eddie Merlot's is worse though. |
I.never like matchbox either. Always been average at best. |
|
Matchbox is awful
I’ve never had a good meal at Le Dip. J Gilberts is certainly not high end…it’s where to go for a family meal. |
| I had a terrible meal at Sfoglina. Don’t get the love for that place at all. The pasta was mushy. Unforgivable. |
