District Taco's an odd entry there. It's just a fast food taco place. Is there some cult following I'm not aware of?
I agree with Rasika. I really like Indian food but they don't seem to be doing much more interesting or unusual to justify the hype and price. |
No District Taco needs to be there. There was a thread recently about how their quality has tanked. Used to be a gem. Not so much anymore. |
I do miss the salsa bar. I always viewed them as a sort of local chain Chipotle. |
It’s fast food but it’s more of a local joint. It originally started as a food truck that was really good. Then they had a few chains stores and the quality went waaaay downhill. |
Agree with this. They got too big and now quality is subpar. Many better taco spots in the area now, but DT is better known and often more convenient because so many spots. |

St. Anselm Steakhouse
Medium Rare Fiola Mare |
+1 to both of these Also afternoon tea at the Willard |
They have 15+ locations now, and just started a fan franchising arm. The quality has declined, but I certainly wouldn’t call it overrated, they have some really good breakfast tacos for under $5 and it still stays cheaper than Chipotle. |
I keep hoping National Cathedral will bring their tea back because I think my mom would really enjoy it. |
I have not been to Rasika in ages but it was amazing when I went. It would be sad to hear their quality has declined. I don’t think Le Dip is the best restaurant in town but at least among people I know, it’s appropriately rated. They do what they set out to do. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the service is always good, even if it’s not my favorite restaurant. It’s very reliable which makes it a go-to for out of town guests or special occasions. |
Fiola Mare is such a waste of money. OMG so overrated. I agree with all of these. |
