Founding Farmers

I love Sisters Thai for the atmosphere and the staff. The food is not amazing, but it's still good. While I wouldn't hype it up to anyone, it's still a nice option to have a catch up lunch with a friend. I find their vegetable-focused dishes to be best. |
| Founding Farmers is so bad that when people recommend it I feel bad for them. |
The chef is gay. I highly, highly doubt it. |
I went to planta once and thought it was terrible and people rave about it. |
Sister Thai is awful. I don't understand why people like it. IMO, Kiin Imm Thai is much better, but not by a huge margin. I used to live in CA, and there were some amazing Thai restaurants. I also found FF meh, and Cooper's Hawk meh but definitely better than FF. I don't find Stanford Grill all that great, either. |

| Rose’s Luxury was a huge disappointment when we went a few years back |
Planta is always packed. I have no idea why. It's overpriced for such small, meh-tasting portions. |
| Le diplomate for sure. Why is it so greasy?! |
| Also why do people like Matchbox here? Yuck. I miss NYC. |
| Unconventional diner. Yuck. |
Rose's Luxury is disgusting. They fried a dover sole. |
Really? I am hyper critical and think DC has a terrible food scene but think the quality is really good and think the menu is well done. Ambiance is also beautiful. |
