Will Smith’s statement on Oscars incident

He was more distanced, saying he apologized for his behavior. His "mistake."

And he gave away why. He said he won't be made to feel ashamed, and he won't be made to feel like a piece of sh--.

But to really own it, he should feel ashamed and like sh--.

Own it. Admit it. Say Chris, I am so sorry I was a piece of sh--. I'm sorry, I was wrong. Then you can set yourself free. It is what it is.

"Behavior" would be like arriving late all the time, or failing to reply to texts. Or being nasty all night. This wasn't "behavior." That's playing coy. This was a violent assault.

In the 20+ years that he has been in the public eye, he has walked the line. I’s like to thing that this one moment in his life does not define who he is. Again grace! I am so happy that my mistakes, were not done on TV for the world to see.

If Mike Tyson can recover after biting off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear, then so can Mr. Smith.

DAMN GIRL! You seem to know pretty well that Duane K. Martin and his ex, Tisha, have shown Mr. Smith (LOL for life, sweetie) rather a lot of grace.

Mike Tyson never pretended he didn’t bite the ear, or that he did so for capital H Honor.

The poster noting that Jada is walking the line (you’re so cute PP) between kind of truth and total fat lie with her alopecia complaint. I don’t think she suffers from true, diagnosed alopecia. I think she has had some traction loss that she’s pissed about and decided she was a noble autoimmune disease sufferer instead of a middle-aged woman facing the consequences of some beauty choices.

Exactly this - she has traction alopecia, as do a lot of black women of her age, due to the way she styled her hair over the past 30 or so years.

If that is true, she could have helped other women by being honest about it.

I felt the same way about John Travolta and Kelly Preston not coming clean on Jett’s autism. They knew when he was a child that he had it but, probably thanks to Scientology, refused to acknowledge it publicly until Jett died in his bathtub accident and they were being scrutinized.

Gross. The Travoltas don’t need to explain to the world a private diagnosis they have for their son. It is no one’s business.
Likewise, Jada doesn't have to explain the exact type of alopecia she has and what may have caused it.

If she’s gonna put herself out there as a victim and use her diagnosis to justify her husbands bad behavior then yes she does. Traction alopecia is a lesson learned not a disability.
She doesn’t have to do what you say. 😂

If she would like public sympathy she does. People ar e sick and tired of celebs exploiting odd Dx for attention and sympathy. It is wrong to make it a thing and not explain. If you don’t explain - I think you are full of shit.

Thank you. We aren’t defined by our worst moment in life or shouldn’t be. You’re the kind of person I could be friends with, not these other ‘perfect’ people on here.

Here's another saying you can probably find on distressed wood at Home Goods. When people show you who they are, believe them.

If someone can post a single picture of Jada with visible bald spots (besides that little scar on the top of her head) or hair loss I’d love to see it.

Should be easy since she was so outspoken about her condition and proud of that bald head of hers! Must be a lot of pictures out there to help ive visibility and representation to others with alopecia.

Yes, but she was not proud of the bald spots and the progression of the hair loss. That's what pp is asking for. There are tons of pictures with her bald head.

That was will , Jada never used her diagnosis to justify it. Actually, after she briefly brought up the incident on Red Table Talk fans were in her comments pissed because they felt she didn’t stick up for Will enough.

This is in character for Jada. She gaslights him and treats him poorly. And after egging him on, she now acts like he acted on his own, given the negative public response.
She's always humiliating him on video. That video of her talking to him about the August "entanglement" was so bad. I don't know why he puts up with her sht.

There was one video in their house where he kept asking her to stop filming him. She was interrogating him and he seemed tired. Nothing would make her stop and it seemed like he has to give in to her. It was so inappropriate to treat someone in your household like that. She was horrible to him and she clearly is more concerned about her show and fame and has to use him to get it. I actually liked her and defended her before I saw that video.

I think this is the video the pp is referring to.

Here's the clip of Will talking about how Jada hated the 40th birthday party he threw her.

That is terrible. 😢 He's gaining my sympathy.

This is all Scientology’s doing. Don’t they pair closeted gay men with women who will stick by them? And Jada is perennially pissed off at him for the marriage that neither can quit. I truly believe Scientology is some crazy sh$T and it can explain a lot of what goes on…

Give his roles to Alphonso, always the more handsome and talented of the pair!
