OP here…hmmm macro approach, ok I stick to low carb usually around 50g carbs or less. Sometimes max of 75g carbs, rest is protein and fat. Protein with every meal. I track macros with FitBit and stick to about 1500-1600 calories max per day. Hope this helps! |

Right….I use my Fitbit to track macros. And to answer above, I eat tons of vegetables and no pasta, oatmeal, rice, white potatoes, bread etc. I also eat fruit…you get more nutrition from veggies and fruits than all the simple carbs. |

Love oatmeal but needed more protein so replaced my oatmeal breakfast with fruit, Icelandic yogurt and walnuts or almond butter. Sometimes I do omelet with veggies for breakfast. Much more protein and nutrients with these options. YMMV |
OP here….also running 12 miles a week (three 4 Mile runs) and strength training 3 days per week. |
