Haha and you are an excellent example of the type of parenting in your team and what they are able and capable to spell out from their mouths. Congratulations you are in the right place. |
It’s has nothing to with curriculum. WTH. VDA girls was born four years ago in 2017 with the emergence of the Girls Development Academy. Until that time, they lost all their players to FCV, McLean and or BRYC. Read that agin. Four years ago. That means that the current 04/03 team were rising 8th and 9th graders at the time. 1. VDA is young. 2. PWSi is a huge organization 3. Less and less kids are leaving for elsewhere causing them to strengthen 4. Slowly becoming a destination club 5. The future is bright |
Not at VDA but this is pretty spot on. Cracks me up that some loon thinks they changed the "curriculum" last year and now all of sudden the club is good. SMDH |
If VSA and PWSI can do what Richmond strikers and Richmond kickers have done then VDA will be fantastic. |
They will not even come close to accomplishing that because of the amount of competition in NOVA. There are no other competing ECNL or GA clubs in Richmond. |
What’s the curriculum at loudon? |
First thing they do is they teach the parents how to spell L O U D O U N. |
😂- Not Long ago Richmond was considered one of the weaker clubs in ECNL. Back when courage was CASL and Bethesda was somebody. So maybe I’m dating myself. VDA has less external pressure then every other NOVA club. Loudoun - FCV McLean - Arlington BRYC - Everybody |
Nope. Sorry - it's an ECNL team. Not a first year one either. If I call him the Team Liaison, is that better? Same issue. |
Ok then. What's the second lesson? |
"Pay to the order of" |
| How desperate is FCV? |
Oh, c'mon, that was walked right into. The shot had to be taken and would have been said about any club. |

Your point is valid though, VDA has a geographical advantage over the clubs you mention, but nothing like Richmond enjoys. It has always surprised me that Christian didn't move FCV (pre-STJ) down that way to take advantage of more opportunities for space. Still could I suppose. Enjoy it while it lasts... because nothing lasts in youth soccer. |
Super annoying for you to turn every thread into a Loudoun bash. We get it. You don’t like Loudoun. FCV needs to keep recruiting and Loudoun is your primary competition for players. Just stop hijacking every thread. |
