From the hearing so far we have learned:

All three people testifying said the believed we should leave 2500 troops. Biden told Stephanopoulus in August that none of his advisors recommended this.

Al Qaeda was and is still in Afghanistan, contrary to what Biden told the American people.

Well over 100 Americans left in Afghanistan despite this administration continuing to claim “about 100 remain.” Possibly as many as 4000.

Biden claimed we will get all Americans out before withdrawing troops and we know that didn’t happen.

Biden called the mission an extraordinary success. Milley said It. was a strategic failure.


Biden, personally, or his administration lied to us about these things.

Exactly, the naysayers are leaving out the plot...when asked point-blank about whether 2,500 troops was enough, Austin said today that we would start taking casualties, and more troops would be required.

That would have been in violation of Trump's agreement with the Taliban and put those on the ground at even further risk, with still no one withdrawn. It was a lose lose grenade that Trump left and Biden is being blamed for making the best of a horrible situation.

All of the military leaders were wrong. LOL.

In addition to our 2500, there were CIA and contractors and coalition forces. From their testimony today, it seems that they believed this was sufficient to assist the Afghan army. Our service members were there in support roles. Not combat roles.

I also note that Biden has repeatedly lied to the American people about nearly everything dealing with Afghanistan. His lies have cost lives.
