DS is already 6'0 and only 14. What's the likelihood he is done growing?
Anonymous
Unless he has extremely tall genes . He likely will be done in 1 to 2 years and max out at 6'2"

How tall are you and DH? When did his feet stop growing?

That was my ds and he’s nearly 16 now and closing in on 6’3”. It’s definitely slowed down though, so I think he’s nearly done.

If he does get taller, bookmark this site for clothes: https://americantall.com/

Old Navy can be good too.

OP here. I am 5'11 and DW is 5'3. Now DD is 12 and 4'8. It's really weird. On my side my dad is 5'9 and mom 5'8, but my grandfather was 6'5.

It's all over the place

He's just about done.

Frankly it's impossible to tell. He could be done. Or he is just getting started.

My son is 6'6. He was 6'1 at 14.

Impossible to say.

Most boys are not completely done growing at 14 (some are) but seems unlikely he will gain more than another inch or two. Who knows.

He's likely done growing maybe 0.5 to 1 inch more . Especially if over the last 1 to years he's been growing rapidly.

He will be popular with the girls that's for sure lol.

Such a stupid take

He will be at least 6'4. I was 6'0 at 13 and I am 6'5 today at 23. My parents are 5'9 and 5'6. We do have tall people on both my mom and dads side.

And if he has been betting good nutrition and sleep, he will keep growing.

I had to stop fencing for 1 years when I turned 14 because I was having some much pain due to growth plates.

Yep. A friend of mine and his brother were both 6” as hs freshman. He ended up 6’1”, his brother is 6’5”. It could go either way.

+1. Hopefully he is popular with the basketball coach instead if he is into sports. He likes basketball and keeps growing have him join the team. There are a lot of basketball scholarships at D3 schools.

I was 5'11 in 10th grade and I was always among the tallest at my HS. 6'0 at 14 is extremely tall. He is probably in the 95th percentile in the US

I am 6'3. Is his height mostly legs? If so, he is not done and will be very tall. 6'5+ is not impossible.

Hope he takes advantage. I read an article somewhere that said that very tall people when they walk into an interview they already have 50% chance of getting the job if they are tied with other candidates and no other red flags.
