Massive cheating on SAT?

Anonymous
SAT cheating site had 875K visitors in November alone. College Board says “nothing to see here”, but acknowledges problem in “certain international markets” (China).

Everybody already knows there is cheating.

College Board should send staff to administrate the SAT in CCP China. Yeah, the cheaters should pay a higher fee to cover the extra expenses!

Or better still, just ban all SAT/AP tests in the country known for cheating! The spoiled kids can go to the nearby country Hong Kong (still not as corrupted) to take those tests!

The SAT is not administered in China. Chinese students travel out of the country to take it.

That’s literally what they do. Except it isn’t the CB that banned it. They can’t administer it is China due to government restrictions.

MAGA to dumb to know this

And you are too dumb to know the difference between to, too and two!

🤣
They probably couldn’t even do the dumb modules of the adaptive SAT and that’s why they have to rely on cheating!

I’m feeling so bad for Hong Kong. It used to be a modern ethical country.

because they have the biggest population.

There's cheating everywhere, but no where else has a population the size of those two countries.

Nope. Not sure about India, but China has a whole cheating industry on this. True, you’ve got people who cheat in every single country, but this has become part of the system in China.

I still don’t get it—if their universities are better than ours, why are their students so desperate to get into U.S. colleges, even to the point of cheating? That just doesn’t add up.

And ironically 2024-2025 we see surge in international students in US colleges even with Trump administration.

Bingo!
I hope employers and colleges and grad schools everywhere verify their applications.

1. Very difficult to get into top universities in China.

2. Cachet/prestige from studying abroad is a significant advantage in gaining employment in China.

3. Many want opportunity to emigrate to US and college is an initial step in that process.
