NYP reports Westland teaching trans lessons, including breast binding

The New York post reported that Westland middle school is teaching trans lessons, including on breast binding. I’m very concerned as I am in this district and 100% would want to opt my kids out. Any parent reactions? Anyone calling the county to complain? This is absurd. Did you know any sex ed requires parental consent and disclosure of materials under state law. They are trying to sneak in these materials.

I’m tired of this stuff in schools and with my kids. It’s really changing my politics.

This kind is stuff is really frustrating and obnoxious on the part of MCPS. Teaching acceptance and awareness does not meant teaching young girls how to bind their chests.

MCPS has learned nothing from its costly Supreme Court loss.

What's wrong with giving pronouns? You don't always know what someone uses based on what they look like. It's not really a trans thing, just being polite and respectful, right? Just because people didn't do it when we were kids doesn't mean it's somehow scandalous or whatever...
