Man struck by train at a Alexandria Metro stop dies, he was attacked and being chased by two assailants

Horrific story, a man was hit by two women who were chasing him at the metro station. The two women were fare evaders. He was then stuck by the train and has since passed away. I can't even imagine this persons last few minutes on earth. No arrests have been made.

Do they have video? I'm assuming they know that the women are fare evaders because of video or witnesses? |

They have video. It’s a sickening story. He closed the gate behind him so they couldn’t pass through on his fair. They got mad and beat him and chased him onto the tracks where he was hit by a train and died. So f’ed up. |

The assailants were both teenage girls (one 17, one 18). The attack happened during the school day.
I wonder how many people in DC have been harassed by teenagers in or around DC? I have. I was fortunate in that it happened in a busy neighborhood during evening rush hour -- I started yelling and the girls dispersed because there were people nearby. But if there hadn't been anyone around, I do wonder what would have happened. They were demanding my cell phone. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Something is wrong with these kids. |

Wow that is terrible. I moved out of DC when my son started middle school because I didn't want him to be harassed or beaten up by some young morons on the metro or on the street. Having lived in DC for a long time, it was a real possibility. |
