You’re comparing the process to ban a student with the process to ban an adult from the school.

Those are VERY different things.

A student has a legal right to an education. A random adult has no legal right to be on school grounds. If we were talking about expelling the boy, yes, there would be a whole process (and I agree nothing would happen.) But an adult? That’s the easiest decision ever. The mom would get banned from school grounds immediately.
