People up to age 26 even if sexually active and even if already exposed to HPV can benefit. Protection against strains they were not yet exposed to.
Cervical cancer.
Anal cancer.
Throat cancer.

Do not get this vaccine. It's useless. it protects against a tiny number of STDs. Your kids should be protecting themselves from ALL stds by practicing safe sex. No need for this shot, which DOES have side effects.

It prevents an STD that can give your kid cancer later on.

So what? They should be protecting themselves from all the other stds they could get, too. So if they are protected from getting ONE kind of wart that MAY cause cancer, what about all the other STDs that could plague them for the rest of their lives? "Hey, I got herpes but at least I'm protected against a few strains of warts!" No thanks. Practice safe sex. Problem solved. ALL problems solved.

Are you really this dumb? Who vaccinates their child for HPV and says “ok all good now. Go have sex!” Literally no one. Of course you should get them vaccinated and protect them from possibly getting cancer much later in life. The window to get this vaccine now but it protects them when they have sex later. There are other forms of protection against other kinds of STDs. And yes. Children shouldn’t be having sex but they will and I’d rather my child be protected instead of acting like a moron (that’s you).

So if you're teaching your kids to practice safe sex then they don't need a vaccine for ONE of MANY stds they could get if they are careless. That was the PPs point.

People would be snickering about the guy whose mom called his gf's mom because she was cheating. Literally until they all drop dead. He'll never be able to go to a party or celebrate a class reunion. Never. Is that what you want for your DS, OP?

Just NO. Unless you're planning on wearing a condom for the rest of your life with every partner and never giving oral, you need the vaccine. You two don't deserve to be raising children.
