DC1 sings "Take Me Home" and DC2 is humming "Rocky Top" (atm). Still gotta get in. We all really liked Knoxville. So much so, that it's made our short list of places to (potentially) retire except DC2 said we'd have to wait til they graduate!

PP here. I have family members who have retired there. They LOVE it! Same for Chattanooga.

You’re trying to convey a false perception based on incomplete information. You said yourself their waitlist hasn’t moved therefore you can’t say what their actual acceptance rate will be. Didn’t they admit tons of kids off the waitlist in previous years due to poor yield?

My OOS kid only applied to South Carolina. He liked it. He got in but didn't get any merit so it wasn't really considered. Some of the buildings looked tired but there was a campus in the middle of the city. He like this. He would have been very happy there. Have a relative that is going there next year. She is high stats and had other higher ranked options
