SC business and SC honors college are both harder to get into than Clemson

Clemson has an honors college too

Is it ranked? SC is #1

No one gives a flying crap about honors college rankings. Employers sure as hell don't.

Must have struck a nerve and you couldn’t be more wrong. Why are you triggered?

Clemson is magical. Lake, mountains, kids are great, lots of school spirit. Beautiful campus and they invented the packaging that keeps your oreos fresh (side opening).

I would seriously encourage ANYONE to look at Clemson.

Oreos now uses a resealable top. THAT is magical.

We will visit. I hear Clemson is beautiful and on a lake but middle of nowhere. UTK is cute but not beautiful but nice facilities and cute little town and villages next to it.

DD less excited about SC

Ultimate goal is UGA probably (deferred) so need to visit these in the meantime.

Has other options too (and some higher ranked) but wanted to check these as we like the warm/southern/friendly vibe.

Hillbilly menage trois?

The amount of record breaking apps speak for thems

It shows how gullible Americans are.

Where are their Honors College rankings?

Also, PP is correct. Employers don’t give any special preference to an Honors College kid, though those kids may have better resumes.

Looks like there is a troll on this thread that needs to be ignored.

SC claims to be #1. Start a new thread if you want to debate honors and employers.

Yes, it's 50 min from Greenville but there's basically nothing there either. If your kid really wants to go there have them spend some extended time there to see if being that isolated is something they're ok with.

-kid transferred out of Clemson due to how isolated it is

To where?

USC. California. Not South Carolina.

Yeah, so that’s nonsense and of course 5 years old. There are no independent Honors college rankings.

Sorry you’re triggered. They have SC honors at #1 and anyone that follows public honors colleges generally agrees. You don’t have to agree. Move on.

Nobody is triggered….you just can’t produce anything to support what you are saying.

I’m not saying anything, I’m citing South Carolina’s source that says they are #1. If it wasn’t a legitimate ranking they wouldn’t advertise using it. Move on troll.
