Is a pussy move by the Episcopal coach and their AD.
Sorry but you opting to play in a less competitive field by choosing to play in the VISSA and not the IAC. And sorry don’t call it a VISSA title if Saint Stephens chooses not to play in it. What kind of message are you sending to your players? |
| Gonzaga refusing to play St. John’s. What a bunch of cowards. |
It should have been St Stephens/STA vs Prep round 3 - Prep crushed the Saints twice recently so maybe they got a favor - have never heard of a coin toss used to seed teams. The Bears should be fine vs STA |
| The SJC tool needs to tone it down. Sorry your kid didn’t get into GZ but just stop it. |
| Why should anybody be sorry for not getting into GZ. I'd consider that to be a good thing |
| Agree....it means your son will not be a dbag bro dog later in life |
|
The coin flip Screws Landon and helps Bullis and St. Stephens. Landon should have been the three seed by any rational criteria that is used in any rational world and any rational seeding committee. If the whole season was to seed the tourney, then why have a coin flip. Lazy AD's. Lazy AD's didn't establish Criteria at the outset, or Lazy AD's didn't care about the Criteria, or Lazy AD's didn't want to look into the results of the season.

| SJC poster asks and answers. Get a life. |
I don't know if Rutgers got out of the zone, but this doesn't seem to have aged well. |

Agreed on IAC Seeding. A Joke. It should obviously be
Prep Bullis Landon St. Stephens. St. Albans But a Coin Flip? makes it Prep Bullis St. Stephens Landon St. Albans So Landon plays St. Albans for the third time in five days. St. Stephens gets on the easier side of the bracket to Play Bullis who they beat instead of Prep who thrashed them twice. Landon, if they beat St. Albans, plays Prep, who beat them once soundly and once by a goal. Make sense doesn't it. |
|
Now Prep has to play a team that almost beat them to get to the final instead of a team the crushed twice to get to the final. Why be the number 1 seed? Why call it seeding? I would love to hear the rational for why obvious seeding criteria was thrown out in favor of a coin flip.

More bs from the Joke IAC.
Overall Goal differential from the same opponents. Landon 4-4 +9 St Steph 4-4 -23 Head to Head Landon 18 St. Stephens 13 Landon 9 St. Stephens 10 Landon is plus 4 against St. Stephens. St. Stephens gets the three seed, Landon gets the four seed. Did the people that run this league go to college? Did they get hit in the head too much playing football? |
|
Congrats to the Hoyas on winning the regular season cleanly - Landon deserved a better seeding. |
| Goal differential has never been a tie breaking criteria in the IAC. Since EHS did not play an entire IAC schedule and opted out of the IAC tournament games vs EHS were not considered in the seeding. Landon and SSSA had identical IAC records and the tiebreaker is a coin flip. The IAC followed League criteria,. |
